ECKINGTON FLOOD GROUP

In July 2007 the worst floods ever recorded in this area caused devastation. Eckington suffered lightly compared to some places, however, it was decided to form a flood group to plan for any further flooding in Eckington. Therefore, Arthur Ore compiled a plan of action to deal with any further severe flooding and to help any people affected.

This page includes a map of the village with areas denoted and a list of monitors responsible for those areas. A list of other useful contacts is also given together with details of villagers with offers of help in case of flooding.
