Family History

We have received a request from Jackie and Tony Roberts about family history as follows:
We would be most grateful if you are able to find any information from residents of Eckington or parish records of my husbands ancestors.
They all originate from Eckington and there are burials in the churchyard of Roberts. We have visited Eckington many times and been fortunate to look at parish records dating back to 1800 in the church.
My husbands Great Grandmother was Harriet Allard b.3rd January 1836. She was born in Eckington, her mother being,Mary Allard, a single mother. Harriet married William John Roberts in 1859 in Eckington. His father was John Roberts of Eckington and Harriets father is named in the records as John Shepherd, Farmer . (we cannot trace any records for him) William John Roberts died in Eckington on 2nd August,1870. However, harriet then had a son inNovember 1876 named Frederick Henry Roberts who was my husbands Grandfather. We cannot trace the father at all and would be most grateful if anyone at all could provide ANY information regarding a name e.t.c or any further relatives.
Most of the Ancestors seemed to live in Boon Street or Bunn Street as it was and Jarvis Street. My husbands Grandfather was also the village Police constable in Eckington! Thank you for any assistance or information you can find for us.

If you have any information to help click on the link below to send an email direct to Jackie and Tony.

We have also had a request for information about a William Warren Smith born in Eckington in 1816. Apparently, he moved to Liverpool and became a Broker. If anyone has any information about him, please send email and we will pass the information on.
