Eckington Under Fives is, as its name suggests, a group which provides activities for children under the age of five in Eckington and some surrounding villages. Activities start at the earliest possible age with a Parent/Carer and Toddler Group, which even those with very young babies are encouraged to attend. Playgroup sessions are open to children from the age of 2 years and 6 months until they start school. We are currently open five mornings a week from 9.30am to 12 noon. The current fees are £6.50 per session. We are fortunate in having experienced and well qualified staff who will make you and your child/children very welcome. Eckington Babies and Toddlers meet every Tuesday in the Village Hall (10.00am to 12 noon) for children from Newborn (there was a baby of 3 weeks when I was there) to 2 years 6 months old when hopefully they will progress to the Village Playgroup. Mums, Grannies, Partners and Mums-to-be are welcome to come along for coffee and a chat while the children play. Toys, messy play, singing and fun. For more information contact Sara on 07929 736478 |
